Thanks to the point they took in Bastia, the Girondins move ahead of Rennes and Guingamp.
The Girondins are fifth in Ligue 1 after 15 games. The draw in Bastia allowed us to move up two places, thanks to Rennes losing in Lorient (2-1) and Guingamp losing at home to Nice (0-1). Bordeaux currently have 24 points.

Nice are top of the table with 36 points followed by Paris and Monaco. In fourth place, just one point ahead of the Girondins, Lyon soundly thrashed Nantes last night.

This weekend the Girondins will have a chance to build on their recent success with a trip to Lille, who beat Caen last night (4-2).
